After leaving a career as a research scientist at Newcastle University in 2014,
Hannah retrained as a web designer, helping small businesses get a decent website at a
reasonable cost. Like many new business owners, she wanted to spend more time with her 
young family and craved the freedom of self-employed life.

Her web design business took off very quickly, but she soon ran into her first obstacle — collecting quality content from her clients. For a number of years, Hannah wrote website content alongside web design. However, trying to wear all of the hats in her business only led to burnout.

In 2019, she decided to streamline and niche on website copywriting alone. She dropped all of the other services she was offering at the time and developed the IMPACT method — a unique process for quickly writing high-converting website copy. Her business exploded and in 2021, Hannah launched The Copy Lab — a safe place for fellow entrepreneurs to learn how to write lead-generating content using her EVIDENCE-based model.

Together, Hannah’s IMPACT method and the EVIDENCE-based model work beautifully to deliver quality website copy without the usual hassle associated with finding a copywriter.
